The Quinhentista Fair takes place at the end of April and recreates the time when King Manuel I granted the Charter of Foral on 29 April 1514. It takes place in the municipality's Urban Park and features lots of entertainment, music, dance, theatre, a military encampment, a people's encampment, handicrafts, gastronomy, a fire show, a horse tournament, a horse ride, among other activities.
