The "Cabreia e Minas do Braçal" walking route is a series of short routes.
All of them are circular, starting in the leisure area of the Cabreia Waterfall, in the parish of Silva Escura.
Start and finish - Silva Escura - Next to the information panel on the beautiful Cabreia waterfall area, the PR starts in Cabreia park, surrounded by a luxuriant forest of oaks, laurels and holly.
It follows the valley of the river Mau (which used to be Bom) downstream. It continues along valley paths to the mines of Malhada and Braçal.
PR 2.1 leaves the path common to the other routes and climbs up to the Vale dos Carvalhos on forest paths.
PR 2.2 and PR 2.3 continue along valley paths to the Malhada mines. Here PR 2.2 shortens its route to Folharido and meets PR 2.3 again at Fojo. It then continues along shared paths to Vale dos Carvalhos, where it meets
PR 2.1. Until the end, the path is common to all three routes.
