This Great Route stretches 560 kilometres through Aveiro.
It is divided into three independent routes: the Blue Route, the Golden Route and the Green Route.
Sever do Vouga is home to the Golden Route (GR58) and the Green Route (GR59)
- The GR58 (Golden Route) is the widest and most diverse route on the Grande Rota da Ria de Aveiro. It has a linear profile over its 234 kilometres, with landscapes and ecosystems stretching from the sea and the Ria to the mountains and the Vouga valley, where you'll find some of the most magnificent waterfalls in our country. Particularly appealing for cycle tourism, the Vouga Ecotourway is linked to various walking routes and passes through some of the most important towns in the region.
- The GR59 (green route), which runs for 194 kilometres, takes you through the charms of Sever do Vouga.
