Lamprey and Veal Route

The Lamprey and Veal Route is usually held in February, highlighting the traditional cuisine of Sever do Vouga. Several local restaurants take part, where you can savour lamprey rice, Bordeaux-style lamprey or the famous oven-roasted veal, Sever do Vouga style. The municipality of Sever do Vouga is widely recognised as a gastronomic tourist destination.
