The Lamprey and Veal Route takes place from 17 to 25 February, highlighting the traditional cuisine of Sever do Vouga. Several local restaurants are taking part, where you can savour lamprey rice, Bordeaux-style lamprey or the famous oven-roasted veal, Sever do Vouga style.
The municipality of Sever do Vouga is widely recognised as a gastronomic tourist destination, thus stimulating the local economy.
