The Alfusqueiro river rises in the Caramulo mountains in Vouzela and is a tributary of the Águeda river, where it meets its mouth.
It flows into the River Águeda after a length of 49 kilometres.
In the parish of Talhadas, in Sever do Vouga, the Alfusqueiro river forms a mirror of water surrounded by a vast number of large trees, such as alder and chestnut, which offer their shade to the surrounding area, a space for leisure and relaxation, with picnic facilities where you can enjoy quality time observing some of the species that can be found there, such as the Red-rumped Tit (Aegithalos caudatus), the Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinerea) and the White Wagtail (Motacilla alba).
